Good Government Needed for Allegheny County Council

The County Council Primary Election is May 19, 2009.  This County needs elected officials who have a vision for growing this region and who are responsive to the wants and needs of their constituents.  We are looking for candidates for the upcoming election who favor good, smart government and economic growth, with an emphasis on smart fair taxation in the following Districts:

District 3: Aspinwall, Blawnox, Brackenridge, East Deer, Etna, Fawn, Fox Chapel, Frazer, Harrison, Indiana, Millvale, O’Hara, Reserve, Shaler, Sharpsburg, Springdale and Tarentum

District 4: Bridgeville, Carnegie, Collier, Crafton, Findlay, Glen Osborne, Glenfield, Haysville, Heidelberg, Kennedy, McKees Rocks, Neville, North Fayette, Oakdale, Pennsbury, Robinson, Rosslyn Farms, Scott, Stowe and Thornburg

District 8: Braddock, Braddock Hills, Chalfant, Churchill, East McKeesport, East Pittsburgh, Edgewood, Forest Hills, Monroeville, North Braddock, North Versailles, Pitcairn, Rankin, Swissvale, Trafford, Turtle Creek and Wall

District 9: City of Duquesne, City of McKeesport, Dravosburg, Elizabeth, Forward, Glassport, Latimer Jr. High School Area, Liberty, Lincoln, Port Vue, South Versailles, Versailles, West Mifflin and White Oak

District 13: Allentown, Beltzhoover, Brighton Road, Downtown Pittsburgh, Fineview, Garfield, Lawrenceville, Manchester, Morningside, North Side, Perrysville, Polish Hill, Riverview, South Side Flats & Slopes, Spring Garden, Stanton Heights, Strip District, Troy Hill and Woods Run
